About Information The E-Myth Manager by Michael E. Gerber review book from Amazon:

To become an E-Myth manager, it's essential to know what you want, to discover your "Primary Aim," asserts Gerber in this sequel to The E-Myth: Why Most Small Businesses Don't Work and What to Do About It. He spells out what he thinks is needed: the E-Myth manager should have an entrepreneurial mind-set, be committed to making choices and must exercise full accountability. Some managers, he maintains, are on autopilot. He sets forth seven steps to establish a conscious organization in which conscious people can find meaning and success. The conscious organization manifests its vision through a high sense of purpose, order, integrity and meaning. A revolution in the "idea" of management is essential, Gerber stresses, one that helps people grow beyond their perceived limitations. The underpinnings of the mind-set of E-Myth managers is to think of their company as a small business, no matter its size. E-MythAi.e., entrepreneurial mythAhas become a buzz word in the corporate world, with good reason as Gerber reaffirms here.

This book is less enjoyable than Michael Gerber's original E-Myth Revisited super-success. However, it still has extremely valuable lessons to share with its readers.

In my opinion, you really NEED to read E-Myth Revisited BEFORE you get and read this book, as much of it's content and teachings requires a good understanding of the concepts and ideas he talks about in his previous bestseller. Believe me when I say that reading E-Myth Revisited will be worth your time and effort, so please do get your hands on it.

About Information Managers Not MBAs by Henry Mintzberg review book from Amazon:

Thirty years ago, Mintzberg's bestseller "The Nature of Managerial Work sought to dispel the myths of the disconnected, overly analytical manager by observing a week in the lives of five chief executives. In a sense, "Managers Not MBAs is the sequel, delving as it does into current practice and the need for developing much better managers. The book examines what is wrong with both management education and management itself, and how both could be changed. Mintzberg explores the concept of management as a practice blending craft (experience) with art (insight) and some science (analysis). Conventional education in this realm, he says, encourages a "calculating" approach by overemphasizing the science, and a "heroic" approach by overstressing the art. Mintzberg argues instead for training balanced, dedicated managers who practice an "engaging" style, believing that their purpose is to leave behind stronger organizations, not just higher share prices.

The book has two main audiences, those in educational institutions concerned with management education and those in business concerned with the selection and development of manager. There is also a third potential audience of those who are interested in their own development as managers. Each will find the book very useful, but the second and third audiences are likely to want to skip much of the detail.

Hello, I want to personally thanks for using the time to browse my The 4 Dimensional Manager: DiSC Strategies by Julie Straw ebook download provide. Please Click Now if you’re looking for the official site.

About Information The 4 Dimensional Manager by Julie Straw review book from Amazon:

Successful managers work like coaches, assessing each person's strengths and weaknesses and developing the best strategy to get the job done. The 4-Dimensional Manager shows how managers can become more effective by using the DiSC system. "DiSC" stands for four communication styles: Dominance (direct and decisive); Influence (optimistic and outgoing); Supportive (sympathetic and cooperative); and Conscientious (concerned and correct). In the book's first part, readers assess their own style, the style of the people they manage, and the style of their organization. The second part shows how to choose the most effective style (or combination of styles) for any situation, focusing on seven key areas: delegating, decision making, problem solving, motivating, complimenting, giving constructive feedback, and developing skills.

The book is short and very good. It basically outlines common different behavioral models and focuses on the best approach to communicate with people belonging to each model profile. Of course it all revolves around your willing to adapt your style when dealing with others, especially if you manage a team.

About Information The Three Signs of a Miserable Job by Patrick Lencioni review/ synopsis book from Amazon:

A bestselling author and business guru tells how to improve your job satisfaction and performance.

In his sixth fable, bestselling author Patrick Lencioni takes on a topic that almost everyone can relate to: the causes of a miserable job. Millions of workers, even those who have carefully chosen careers based on true passions and interests, dread going to work, suffering each day as they trudge to jobs that make them cynical, weary, and frustrated. It is a simple fact of business life that any job, from investment banker to dishwasher, can become miserable. Through the story of a CEO turned pizzeria manager, Lencioni reveals the three elements that make work miserable -- irrelevance, immeasurability, and anonymity -- and gives managers and their employees the keys to make any job more fulfilling.

As with all of Lencioni?s books, this one is filled with actionable advice you can put into effect immediately. In addition to the fable, the book includes a detailed model examining the three signs of job misery and how they can be remedied. It covers the benefits of managing for job fulfillment within organizations -- increased productivity, greater retention, and competitive advantage -- and offers examples of how managers can use the applications in the book to deal with specific jobs and situations.
